A truly scrappy quilt using a wide variety of fabrics, even those you don't particularly like. The flowers are prepared using English Paper Piecing - and each flower is made up of 9 different fabrics in the same colourway.  There are 13 vases to choose from or you can make all of them.  I chose to have lots of contrasts between the flowers and vases.  The background for each block is a mixture of low volume fabrics so raid your stash!!

Quilt measures approximately 54 inches x 45 inches.

This pattern contains:

  • Full-size pattern with instructions and images.
  • Little Blooms is currently available in hardcopy and pdf.  The hardcopy ONLY includes papers for EPP.

I have heard many teachers tell students that the project may be too advanced for them.I believe that if you like a pattern, there is every chance that you will strive to complete it.There are a lot of tutorials that you can watch to help you along the way.

Most of the fabric I use when making my quilts comes from my stash which has taken me many years to collect.  So no… it isn’t always easy to find the same fabric but there are lots of newer substitutions.

As I don’t have a shop I am not able to supply you with fabric.
